What does it cost?

You can try HeardThat without any restrictions for free for 30 days. After that, you can use it for free for 30 minutes a week.

The free trial has no strings attached. You will not be charged anything unless you explicitly purchase a subscription. You can check whether you have a subscription in the app store for your phone.

Please see the pricing page for details about the subscription options.

Will it work with my audio device?

We've tried to make HeardThat compatible with as many devices as possible. The general answer is, "If you can hear phone calls with your hearing device, you should be able to use HeardThat."

The best way to know for sure is to try it. We've made HeardThat free to try so you can experiment risk-free.

How do I send feedback?

  1. In HeardThat, press the Feedback button on the main screen.
  2. In the box labeled Message you can enter a message to ask a question or report a problem. (Or give us praise!)
  3. We can help you better if you send audio along with the feedback. By default a recording of the most recent session will be attached. You can use the play button to listen to the audio to make sure you're using the right one.
  4. If you want to send a different recording, do this:
    • Android: press the Choose new file button
    • iPhone: Click the "x" to the right of the play button, then click "+"
  5. Press Send to send the feedback. (It will be sent directly from the app, not via email.)

Note that if you are not connected to Wi-Fi, the feedback will be stored and uploaded later when you are connected. To be sure the feedback is sent, start the HeardThat app when you are back on Wi-Fi. The stored feedback will be sent automatically.

Why aren't you responding to my feedback?

We only have one way to contact you: the email address you provided when you sent feedback.

  1. Please double check the email address to be sure it is correct
  2. Check your spam folder for messages from us
  3. Still nothing? Send an email in the usual way to support@singularhearing.com. Our response to that may have a better chance of getting through.

My own voice is too loud

My hearing aids or implants don't have Bluetooth streaming. Can I use HeardThat?

You have several options:

  1. If you have enough hearing capability, you could use HeardThat with regular earbuds or headphones instead of your hearing aids.
  2. You could wear over-the-ear headphones while wearing your hearing device.
  3. If your hearing device has a connection box with an audio input jack you could connect an audio cable from your phone to that box.
  4. If your hearing device has the telecoil (T-coil) option, you could use an induction neckloop (such as the ClearSounds CLA7v2, Williams Sound NKL 001, or Amplicom NL100).

If you need more information about any of the above, please contact us at support@singularhearing.com.

Will it help, given my particular hearing capabilities?

We hope so, but the only way to know for sure is for you to try it out. It's free to try HeardThat. This lets you try it risk-free and only commit to it once you have confirmed that you find it helpful.
